Ok, So I put my laptop on craigslist, Because i’m going through hard times, And I need to save up for my rent, I asked 350 dollars? Someone bought the laptop from me. I emailed with them for about 2 days before the purchase was made, I told them the specs, And every nook and crannie the laptop had. I shipped the laptop BEFORE payment was recieved, I trusted that they would pay me. So they did pay me. They sent me a check, And I cashed it. I have the cash, Well I got a call today from the person, Saying they didn’t like the laptop, Because it is too bulky. Now i’m in a pickle, Because I paid the rent, Will I get introuble for not giving them there money back? I don’t want to go to jail. Help?!?! Reassure me!?!

nope, you are in the right. they accepted the product, you accepted payment….it’s their bad if they don’t like it. they can resell it.
I’m not a lawyer, but I would assume the sale is As Is, which means you don’t have to give them anything back as long as you delivered what they ordered and in good working condition. Check Craigslist to see if they have any rules or terms of service to the contrary.

hey, if they’re that picky, then they should have gone to bestbuy. nobody returns an item in craigslist just because they dont like it. they should already be aware of the risk you know. it was a sale and you didnt give them any “return policy” so the hell with it.
I don’t see why, as you give them all the specs. Anyhow I should think .they would have to sue you to get their money back.
Your not going to get in trouble, I went thru that. I bought a laptop off of Ebay, with their stupid buyers protection and all. Recieved the laptop, and it worked, what I didn’t noticed is that it only works pluged into the wall, not on its battery. Reported it and everything to ebay, and paypal, and nothing happened. That was a crime. What you did is not, just because its too bulky, is a stupid excuse. Don’t worry about it, its just buyers remorse.
I also bought a car, off there and nothing work, the ad descirbed the car as perfect working condition. So your definetly cool.
